I’m Matthew, and I run Metacraft Engineering – a mobile welding and fabrication service across the Wye Valley & Monmouthshire, working with local farms, contractors and rural businesses.
After over a decade working in structural and nuclear engineering, I started Metacraft to bring professional welding and fabrication directly to where it’s needed. No waiting around for workshop availability or hauling broken equipment halfway across the county – I come to you.
What I Do
Most of my work is agricultural: machinery, implements, brackets, yard metalwork and handling the repairs that keep farms running. If it’s made of metal and needs welding or fabricating, I can sort it.
I also work with rural businesses, contractors, and anyone needing quality metalwork done on-site. Custom jobs are welcome – if you’ve got an idea or a problem that needs solving, let’s talk it through.
